Recently, my Mycroft II developed a problem in which the fan speed remained stuck at maximum. The unit was otherwise functional.
The fan remained on at maximum even after a shutdown operation.
After a little experimentation I was able to resolve the problem by replacement of the Raspberry Pi 4.
